Okinawa Autotech has made a name for itself in the electric motorcycle business.

Their most recent appearance at the 2020 Auto Show announced that their initial model would be available sooner.

The company said that its first motorcycle would be available during the 2020 holiday season.

However, due to the epidemic, the launch has been postponed.

With the recovery of the EV market, Okinawa intends to launch its first electric motorcycle, the Okinawa Oki100.

Okinawa Oki100 cruises the road with a top speed of 120 Kmph and has a range of 150 km.

The performance of the Oki100 electric motorcycle will be comparable to that of a 125-150 cc motorcycle.

The motorcycle resembles the 125cc petrol-powered commuter motorbike with a frame-mounted electric motor.

The LED headlamp, red-painted trellis frame, virtual fuel tank, and tailpiece are the same as the Italian Ducati Street Fighter.

The bike will likely have a Telescopic front fork, a rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels.

The company has also declared that the battery cells and other components will be manufactured locally to have a check-in bike pricing.

The company has yet to confirm the capacity of the battery pack.

The bike is expected to travel up to 150 kilometres on a single charge.

The business mentioned that different battery versions besides the previously seen 3.3 Kwh version would be different.

Though the actual price is not confirmed, the bike is projected to launch at around 1 lac ex-showroom price Delhi.
