While the Ranger is a great truck, it doesn't garner as much attention as competitors like the Toyota Tacoma or Jeep Gladiator.

However, the 2022 Ford Ranger has surpassed the competition as the best mid-size truck available.

According to J.D. Power, the Ranger has the finest beginning quality of any mid-size truck.

The Jeep Gladiator is ranked second in the initial quality evaluation, and the Chevy Colorado is ranked third.

The Ford Ranger can easily exceed 300,000 miles with reasonable care and maintenance.

If you travel roughly 13,500 miles each year, it should last up to 20 years.

The 2022 Ford Ranger comes with a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.

The Ranger can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 6.8 seconds, tow up to 7,500 lbs, and carry a payload of up to 1,905 lbs.

Owners are pleased with the ride and internal noise. The seats are comfortable and supportive.

We're excited to see how the 2023 Ford Ranger compares when it comes this fall.
