The Royal Enfield Thunderbird was the most popular cruiser motorcycle in India till Meteor-350 replaced it.

Thunderbird was also available in a sportier-looking variation known as X.

Thunderbird was also available in a sportier-looking variation known as X.

They were named Thunderbird 350X and 500X.

Despite having the same overall appearance, X versions had an entirely distinct appeal.

Both Thunderbird X versions were more suitable for riding on highways.

They had alloy wheels, 19 inches in front and 18 inches in back, covered in tubeless tyres.

The X versions have a sporty look, eye-catching colours, and short handlebars.

The Meteor 350X will also come with a similar strategy.

Meteor's cruiser will be converted into a street-styled motorcycle.

Royal Enfield will now offer a younger version of the Meteor 350.

Many changes will be made to the Meteor 350X in 2022.

One of the most noticeable alterations is that the front wheel will be a smaller 18" alloy wheel.

Royal Enfield will launch the Meteor 350X with the same engine as the existing Meteor.

The current Meteor 349 cc engine produces 20.2 horsepower at 6100 RPM and 27 Nm at 4000 RPM.

It will have the same 300mm rotor with a twin-pot calliper at the front and a 270mm rotor with a single-piston calliper at the back.

Meteor 350X could cost between Rs. 8,000 and 10,000 more than the current Meteor's base Fireball model.

We anticipate that it will be available by the end of this month or early in July.
