Mahindra XUV400 Electric SUV: India's first All-Electric SUV

Mahindra has launched its much-awaited XUV400, the electric version of the XUV300.

The front facia of XUV400 is slightly different from its ICE sibling XUV300.

The color satin copper has been applied widely in the front grills and bumper.

On the infotainment side, Mahindra lags slightly by not providing a larger screen and full digital cluster.

The 39.4 kWh Li battery provides a  max power of 148 bhp and a peak torque figure of 310 Nm.

According to Mahindra, the XUV400 has an ARAI tested figure is 456 kms on a single charge.

The battery range of XUV400 is higher than the Nexon EV Max (437 kms)  but slightly lower than MG ZS EV (461 kms).

The E-SUV is blazing fast and touches 100 kmph in just 8.3 secs.

The XUV400 is expected to launch in January 2023, priced around Rs. 18 lakh, ex-showroom. 

If the range remains accurate, the XUV400 could have a long and prosperous career in the Indian EV market.
