The battery-powered Honda U-Go may appear in India this time, shaking the Chinese market.

In August last year, it was launched in China, a joint venture between Wuyang and Honda. 

If everything goes according to plan, this e-scooter will set foot in India this time too.

The Honda U-Go variant is available with 0.8 watts and a 1.2 kW motor. The battery of the second one can run 75 km on a single charge.

The maximum speed is 53 kilometers per hour. 

The eco-friendly scooter suitable for city roads is priced at 8,98 yuan (about Rs 93,000) in the Chinese market.

On the other hand, the cheapest variant of the model with a 0.6-watt motor has a top speed of 43 km per hour. In China, it sells for 8,49 yuan.

Both models come with a 48-volt detachable lithium-ion battery pack. It is possible to extend the range to 130 km by purchasing an additional battery.

Large floorboards, LCD instrument console display, battery status, range, mode, and speed are among the Honda U-GO features.

The scooter also has a USB charging outlet, anti-theft alarm, 28-liter under-seat storage, LED headlights, LED DRL, LED taillamp, LED turn indicators, and a single-piece seat.
