French car manufacturer Citroen is launching its first mass-market vehicle, the 'C3', in the Indian market on July 20, 2022.

The Citroen C3, termed a "hatchback with a twist" by the firm, will be available in two trim levels: Live and Feel.

The Citroen C3 will compete against hatchbacks such as the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.

The Citroen C3 has a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine, producing 81bhp and 115Nm of torque. 

The Claimed mileage of the SUV will be around 19.8 Km/liter. 

The upcoming hatchback's turbocharged unit uses the same 1.2-liter engine but with the added turbocharger for increased power output.

The turbocharged unit of C3 will use the same engine but add a turbocharger for improved power output.

The turbo petrol engine produces 108bhp and 190Nm torque and has coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The C3 has an intelligent driver's display and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The starting price of C3 may begin from ₹5.5-6.5 Lakh ex-showroom.
