Keeway, a Hungarian automaker, has joined the Indian market with a V-twin cruiser and two 300cc scooters.

Keeway has also declared that electric vehicles will be introduced in India.

At the EICMA, Keeway displayed two electric vehicles: the E-ZI, an electric moped, and the Blueshark R1, an e-scooter.

Both electric vehicles are said to be in the entry-level price range.

The Blueshark R1 electric scooter is powered by a 3kW motor paired to a 48V, 30 Ah Li-ion battery pack.

The scooter has a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a range of around 160 kilometers on a single charge.

It will also come in a Lite version with a motor that produces half the power and has a top speed of only 27 miles per hour.
