BattRE, a Jaipur-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, just launched its newest all-electric scooter 'Storie.'

The retro-styled EV two-wheeler is priced at Rs 89,600 ex-showroom and is eligible for the FAME II electric vehicle subsidy.

The BattRE Storie has a retro design similar to the Vespa family of scooters.

Its curving front includes a halogen headlamp and bulb indicators, giving the scooter a sleek and modern appearance.

The vintage curves extend to the scooter's side panels, strengthening its resemblance to Vespa scooters.

The Storie is powered by a Lucas TVS-sourced motor linked to a 3.1kWh battery pack.

For the EV, BattRE claims an ICAT-certified range of 132km on a single charge.

The scooter's body is entirely composed of metal, which increases its longevity.

The instrument cluster has Bluetooth connectivity, call alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation.

The scooter receives a linked drive feature, which assists the rider in locating charging stations nearby.

For their charging stations, BattRE aims to use a 'pay and charge' model.

The Storie is expected to be available in 400 dealerships across the country within the next several weeks.
