Ford has officially shown the 2023 F-150 Raptor R, a more extreme version of the already insane Raptor.

The engine is a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 developed by Ford for the Mustang Shelby GT500.

It produces 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque in this truck, which is close to the Ram 1500 TRX.

Ford modified the Raptor R's engine for usage in an off-road vehicle.

The company modified the supercharger and altered its pulley to increase low- and mid-range torque, which customers now prefer.

In addition, the Raptor R gets a redesigned front axle, a bigger aluminum driveshaft, and an active exhaust system.

The Raptor R's suspension appears to be adequate to the challenge of blasting across the desert as quickly as possible.

Ford enlarged the dome size of the Raptor R's hood by around 1 inch for enhanced air extraction.

The 2023 Ford Raptor R will commence manufacturing in Michigan in late 2022.

The price is still unknown, but for comparison, a 2022 F-150 Raptor starts at just around $72,000, which is almost the same as a TRX.
